KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Integration & Separation for our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the KPMG team and clients to understand current state of rewards programs and help to design and implement future rewards programs based on key business performance and talent objectives in M&A and non-M&A situations

  • Provide full scope of compensation consulting services, with an emphasis on broad-based employee compensation experience, including: competitive benchmarking and pay analysis, job architecture and leveling, incentive plan design, and plan implementation services

  • Provide consulting services on the Rewards components of transaction-related engagements, including job mapping, role definition, retention strategy design, pay benchmarking of roles, and alignment of compensation programs in a transaction context

  • Participate in HRIS technology implementation projects with cross-functional KPMG teams to provide subject matter specialization related to job architecture and/or compensation design

  • Lead multiple engagements while providing leadership to client service teams; build and manage strong client relationships with senior management and across client enterprise groups to drive growth, provide active involvement in the development of new tools and approaches

  • Draft proposals, fee estimates, and related materials for new opportunities. Participate in internal marketing and business development efforts and draft supporting collateral. Develop, coach, and mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in HR consulting, with a focus on the design, benchmarking, and implementation of compensation programs with a top accounting or human resources consulting firm. Related in-house experience is also considered

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college

  • Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project

  • Has either attained, or is on track to attain, CPA, CCP/CECP, CEP, or other industry specific certification

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, team player, with positive attitude and strong quantitative, communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience in M&A and the financial services/private equity sector a plus

  • Travel, on average, may be up to 33% depending on the specific client or engagement
