Read onto learn more!Principal Duties / ResponsibilitiesEstimates and submittals provided to customers in expected time framesDetails projects for shop productionReviews plans, orders and data files for accuracyAssists sales and production with design services and trouble shootingStaffs, develops, and coaches the design team, evaluates performance andinitiates corrective action as requiredMonitors department output to ensure efficient resource utilization andinitiates corrective action as requiredPrepares various reports as requiredReviews and maintains pricing databasePerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsJob SpecificationsKnowledgeBachelor Degree required in related discipline or equivalent experience isrequiredMinimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilitiesProduct Knowledge related to doors, trim, and hardwareWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and OutlookSkills and abilitiesProficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing andspeakingAbility to read and understand blue printsStrong math skillsAbility to use a computer terminal, and proficiency of the use of Mitek andother business and design related software.Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the publicAbility to communicate effectively with others, including customers,peers, and managementAbility to manage several activities/projects at once, to organize andprioritize work, to meet deadlines, to prepare plans, goals and budgets.Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time, be mobile in thework environment, and work hours mandated by management.Ability to pass a drug testConductSelf-managing; works well under little supervisionHighly motivated and enthusiasticGood interpersonal skills and good communicatorBe a team player and support the Company's goalsConducts in a professional mannerWorking ConditionsWorking environment is favorable.
