About the role
The Experience Designer will support the Corporate Services Group, which owns our Employee Stock Plan offering and will work collaboratively to conceptualize, design and test experiences for Web and mobile apps. The role will require effective partnership with product management, engineering, data analytics, and design language.
Design end-to-end customer journeys for Web and mobile apps
Define the jobs-to-be-done from a deep understanding of customers' intent and business objectives
Define low and high fidelity designs and click-through prototypes
Contribute effectively to our design language and help evolve our visual vocabulary and pattern library
Collaborate with engineers and QA to ensure design quality at each step of the development process
Present designs and concepts to product managers, engineers and other stakeholders
Technical skills needed
Proficient in Sketch, InVision, and Keynote
Thorough knowledge of user-centered design principles and approach
Thorough knowledge of jobs-to-be-done concept
Experience building/working with component-based design systems
Experience in A/B testing and informing designs with data
Experience applying Accessibility best practices (WCAG)
Good understanding of Web technologies and their impact on UI design
Experience working in the full lifecycle of Lean/Agile delivery model
Soft skills needed
Passion for designing digital products and experiences
Pride in the work delivered and tremendous attention to details
Go the extra mile to deliver on time and to high quality standards
Great judgment, positive energy and curious about the business context
Self disciplined, self motivating, and self improving
Effectively communicate and present complex conceptual thinking visually and verbally
4+ years in UX or Design required
College or University degree required in Art & Design, human factors or related field (Master's degree preferred)
