The duration is long-term (1+ year). Must be familiar with gas and diesel engines, automotive test cells and have excellent organizational skills as well as a high level of independentjudgment with supervision.span style="text-decoration: underline;"Responsibilities:/spanulliWorks in coordination with design, purchasing and test cell engineers to ensure delivery of hardware that meets BOM and BOP requirements/liliAutomotive test cell operation/liliResponsible for creating test cell hardware and engine build kits within specified project timing/liliEnsures all items released for build are complete and accurate/liliControls inventory of custom and standard parts required for test cell projects/liliFamiliar with engineering operations and processes./liliCommunicates information to and from internal and external customers/liliUses and recognizes best practices/liliMaintains safety and good housekeeping standards/liliInitiates the design process/liliPerforms the design analysis/liliDiagnoses and corrects deficiencies/liliAssists in maintaining cost controls/liliProvides technical direction to support personnel/liliInitiates supportive build programs/liliPlans and implements test and/or development programs/liliCoordinates engineering activities as necessary with other departments and/or divisions/liliCoordinates with suppliers and/or customers on a frequent basis/liliStays abreast of new technology/liliRegular contract with others outside the work group/li/ulspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Required Skills/Experience:/spanulliDemonstrated high level of organization and inventory skills/liliExperience operating and working in an automotive test cell/liliFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and assembly operations./liliDemonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others/liliHas oral and written communication skills/liliProficient in Microsoft Office products.
