Anglin Consulting Group is recruiting for a Senior Data Warehouse Administrator
Description Provides database management through maintenance of data dictionaries, data models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes and tests. Supports services for the sustainment and enhancement of data operations including master data management, data modernization and transformation, data governance, data acquisition, and delivery and decision support initiatives that provide key capabilities to stakeholders. The support includes identifying and implementing effective approaches and tools to help address its mission.
Participates as a member of development team or teams; may lead a small development team. Designs units for others. Completes development to implement complex components. Contributes to design activities; may design solutions. Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews. May lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers. Designs, prepares and executes unit tests. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. Web-site Development). .
*Required * Eight (8) years of complex SQL queries, and generating reports using PL/SQL against relational Databases. Five (5) years of strong background with OLTP databases and OLAP (Data Warehouse and Data Marts) databases. Six (6) years experience developing and testing PL/SQL procedures and triggers; performing SQL tuning and re-write code as necessary Five (5) years of experience developing and maintaining functional and technical documentation Five (5) years of exceptional ETL Design/Development knowledge Eight (8) years of experience in analyzing complex data, and entity relationships in SQL tables to develop processes, and components to identify and document Five (5) years of scripting skills to perform data/file management (e.g. PERL, Python, Shell, etc.) Eight (8) years of Database Design and Data Modeling concepts Five (5) years of experience with Data Migrations, Data Quality and Data Maintenance Five (5) years of experience with BI/Data Warehouse concepts, including star schema, aggregation processes Eight (8) years of experience with Cursors, collections, and Advanced PL/SQL concepts Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements
