Create original woven designs based on seasonal concepts/trends.
Weave original swatches.
Develop original designs into product for window and upholstery categories.
Create presentation boards.
Present products and concepts to design and merchandising teams.
Communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
Identify ideas to be developed.
Gather market research .

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years product design experience.
Experience in residential and contract upholstery a plus.
Degree in Textile Design or equivalent experience.
Design Skills, Creative and Inspirational thinker, Deadline driven.
Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must be able to weave.
Strong color sense
Excellent communication skills
