Job Description

The IT Training and Development Team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work in collaboration with the IT Trainers and staff to create interactive digital content for online learning. Job responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) developing self-paced e-learning courses, tests and resources, designing storyboards, micro learning experiences, videos, interactions and feedback, integrating e-learning courses with LMS and GEICO University. We are looking for a developer proficient in major authoring tools (Adobe a plus!), developing interactive e-learning and video, and extra points for proficiency with coding, graphic, media design and development.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proficiency in multiple authoring tools (e.g. Lectora, Captivate) to develop interactive multimedia learning modules

  • Experience video and audio editing

  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects timely, and adhere to deadlines and project plans effectively

  • Excellent detail-orientation and organizational skills

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other applications to create graphics, animation, audio, video etc. multimedia elements

  • Proficiency in coding interactive content (advanced learning activities, adaptive testing, games, and simulations using applications) with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SharePoint

  • Experience with theories such as adult learning, MOOCs, micro learning, and education principles
