MAXIMUS Sr. BI Analyst - UX Designer in Denver, Colorado

Project/Position Introduction*This is a remote position that requires working from a home office;candidates may be located anywhere in the USOverviewThe Sr. BPM/BI Analyst is an integral part of the MAXIMUS BI and analyticsteam that contributes to the successful delivery of business intelligence,process analytics and reporting across the entire organization. MAXIMUS BIspans the spectrum from designing, documenting, and executing businessprocesses to product deployments to performing root cause and otheroperational analyses. The Senior Analyst transforms the user experience in acollaborative environment, interacting with process owners, operationalmanagers as well as application and BI developers.Responsibilities- Capture, define, document, and maintain clear, accurate, andcorrectly detailed BPMN 2.0-based process models.- Create and manage allied process documentation including business needsstatements, business requirements, use case documentation, test plans,report specifications; ensuring all required process documentation isaccurate, correctly detailed, maintained and organized in the appropriaterepos- Design, execute and evaluate test plans to ensure source data areaccurately represented in presentation data objects (dashboards/reports).- Facilitate discussion among process stakeholders (both technical andnon-technical) to elicit, analyze, communicate (both written andverbally) and validate requirements, process design, and businessintelligence/reporting needs.- Mentor, train, and provide guidance, background information, andassistance to managers, analysts and other staff on standards and bestpractices in the following areas: business and operational analysis, andinterpretation and effective use of process models, presentation objects andother analysis artifacts.- Plan and execute analysis - often interrogating data and other informationto perform root cause analysis, impact assessments, or to identify keymeasures and indicators of process performance making recommendations toimprove or correct performance- Ensure requirements are met and intended benefits are realized through theeffective use of data via a range of visualizations (e.g, dashboards,reports), and alerts while instituting standards and best practices.- Perform other duties as assigned.The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education andExperience- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in IndustrialEngineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics,Public Policy or other area focused on quantitative analytics, appliedmathematics; Master's degree in related field preferred- 5+ years experience successful use of analytic thinking, applyingmethods to determine root cause/solve problems.
