ASRC Federal Holding Company Senior Network Designer in Reston, Virginia
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting for network application software and network provisioning projects in an agile environment
Develop Application Programming Interface (API) to integrate different network provisioning and management tools
Design, develop, test, and deploy network automation tools using open-sourced and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products
Maintain configuration management systems across multiple networks in Cloud environment
Provide O&M support for network provisioning and management tools
Integrate AWS VPC and RDS/My SQL DB
Develop custom scripts to support O&M and custom critical applications
BS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of progressive, relevant experience or an MS degree in a computer or system science discipline and eight (8) to twelve (12) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in a computer or system science discipline and four (4) to seven (7) years of progressive experience
Experience Developing RESTful API.
Experience with AWS Infrastructure (Instances, RDS, Load Balancing, etc), JQuery, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, UI development, Cisco IOS, and network automation and network management is desired
- Avaya and Cisco Certifications
This position requires an active Security Clearance.
Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
