Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Multi-stakeholder research scoping to support strategic business purposes.

  • Generate insights around stakeholder needs evolving over time and across places through fieldwork techniques, desk research and online surveys

  • Create visual & verbal communication materials to support the understanding, assimilation and translation of people insights

  • Coordinate and facilitate knowledge building sessions (people insights and beyond) within the field as well as across the value chain

  • Set up and coordinate Design Thinking and open innovation sessions

  • Set up and coordinate trainings to disseminate innovation within and outside design community

  • Active contribution to global horizontal design research programs

Knowhow

  • Knowledge of consumer and people behaviour.

  • Strong affinity with Healthcare/ wellness/ personal care domain

  • Continuous building of knowledge of societal, cultural, technological and consumer trends

Hard Skills

  • Able to challenge the domain view and determine the research scope with business stakeholders.

  • Able to lead the design research with the project team, organize and execute structured observations, interviews, surveying, focus groups, etc

  • Able to coordinate fieldwork with internal and external team members

  • Able to coordinate and facilitate synthesis and translation sessions.

  • Expert level Design Thinking practitioner (Stakeholder Mapping, Insights Mapping, Value Proposition, Storyboarding, design thinking training etc)

  • Design Skills (Hand Sketching, Conceptual Diagramming, Digital Visualization (Adobe Suite)

  • Additional qualifier: Guiding the usability framework and testing of design concepts

Work Experience

  • In capacity of strategy consulting/ Ethnographic Research/ Innovation Consulting

  • Preferred level of experience is 5-8 years with a consumer/ healthcare/ Innovation/ Service design business background

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Design/ Innovation/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Business/ Related fields

  • Bonus: Lean/ Six Sigma/ User Experience testing, Masters/ exchange overseas studies

Job location : Singapore, with occasional travel within Asia to customer locations

  • Able to lead the design research with the project team, organize and execute structured observations, interviews, surveying, focus groups, etc

  • Able to coordinate fieldwork with internal and external team members
