Maintain department manager's calendar. Create and disseminate department reports and presentations. Organize and manage meetings and conference room reservations for manager and department staff. Organize department staff meetings; take minutes and maintain action logs. Expedite various forms as required. Arrange travel accommodations and process subsequent expense reports for manager and department staff. Provide assistance and guidance to department personnel on items such as travel, expense reporting and company procedures. Set up teleconferences and Imeetings when needed. Maintains department personnel rosterhone list, org chart and all other related department records. Develop, maintain and support folder structure and database items in the CM GDLSIDE2004 Project Manager repository for all projects and programs. Order and maintain stationery supplies for the department. Provide backup support for senior managements administrative assistants when required. Develop, monitor, organize and post department metrics across all programs (ie. Stryker, Abrams, etc.). Perform departmental audits of IPS, ISO and CMMI processes and standards and support department heads. Develop and monitor workflow activities within the department. Develop and maintain department manpower reports, submit BCR's, support manpower forecasting and budget analysis. Assist Section Managers and Coordinators with tracking drawings and providing status trough Access database and TeamCenter.Position Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in engineering/administrative field is preferred.6-9 years minimum experience working for a manager(s) in the areas of engineering, business and technology required.Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience working with Microsoft office software applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access TeamCenter).Ability to operate standard office equipment, i.e., computers, printers, copiers and fax machines. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.Ability to work independently and be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
